‘Citrus’ I think it was one of those I think it is either a manga I have heard of but didn’t know much about. The artwork of this one always got my attention. I decided to watch it. Turned out it is a good one. It is about step sisters who end up having feelings for each other more than just sisters. Story flows good. It kept my attention during the whole thing. I always say this because there are some that they lose me. I keep watching because I invest in it already, mind as well finish something. This one I enjoyed throughout. I recommend. It was s different type of anime for me.
Dream High this was chosen by my niece. I didn’t know much besides it is JYP and IU comes out. You had me at IU this was the first IU drama I watched. Loved her even more. First thing I saw with her was ‘Hyori’s Bed & Breakfast S1’. Enough about IU lol, this drama is about a group of outcast being put into a school of performing arts. Their struggles, their dramas.
The drama has a great cast, mostly idols as you all know. From members of 2pm, IU, Suzy, list continues. Alongside the one and only :::Whispers::: JYP. I found out there is a second season with different cast. I need to check it out hopefully there are some female Idols to look forward too. Haha
What are your thoughts on this one?
‘Pele’ This movie was a good movie. I ended up watching this movie sooner than planned because my niece had a homework assignment on it. To help her out, I watched it in case she had any questions I might be able to help better. Movie was really good, had my interest throughout the whole movie, it did not feel that it had any slow parts. It flowed well. After seeing this movie, I learned more about the man and the game. Brazil being my favorite soccer team I was excited to watch this. More appreciation on how this player played and the history of the style of play.
If you haven’t seen this movie, I recommend it. Very good movie. If you have seen it what are your thoughts?
Ahh My Buddha! Was one of those finds on Crunchyroll I was just browsing around and decided to watch. It is an entertaining season. It has of course hot girls. Just the way that the guy monk gets his powers I was a bit awkward but funny at the same time. You just need to watch. Lol It has its funny moments, interesting concept. Of course this series is just not for just anyone. If you are into this type of genre I say check it out and see if its a good find or not for you.
Anyone seen this one? If so let me know what you think of this season or the whole series.
My Hero Academia season 3 has been a while since I finished it. It was a good season of course and I am excited that season 4 is in less than 2 weeks from now. (depends how soon I post this). I am however missing the movie. I still haven’t seen it. I am waiting for my niece to catch up to it to watch it together. The whole series just is great. Looking forward to what the villains have in store for us.
Who’s excited for season 4?
My ID is Gangnam Beauty, is one of those dramas where I get something out of it that I bring up in my daily life, even while watching other stuff. For this one, it was the one lyric from the OST “something in your eyes”. Every time there is some look or something, I have to say this line. Haha Ok enough about that. The drama was good, the cast is great. This I believe was my first drama I saw with Cha Eun-Woo and he is pretty good actor. Looking forward to seeing more of him.
The drama did get a little slow at times but that is just because you want to grab some of the characters and smack some sense to them. The drama of course is about the main female cast being pretty because of plastic surgery that she had done but no one knows.
How many of ya’ll are fans of this one? I really enjoyed this one but not sure if I would put it in my top list. I should do a top drama list every now and then shouldn’t I?
Sirius the Jaeger season one was awesome.. I believe I saw the first 2 episodes about a year or 2 ago at Anime Expo and was excited to find out who will get it. Netflix ended up getting this one and was able to binge watch all of it at once, which is great. Not sure if it was like that from the start because I did watch it some time after.
This anime I really enjoyed it. It was exciting, the story is good the action is good. It’s about vampires, enough said. I am looking forward to hopefully seeing more of it. I haven’t heard any news but then again I haven’t researched about it. I do recommend this anime though. So if you haven’t seen it make sure to log into Netflix and check it out.
For those of you who have seen it what are your thoughts?
I Found You! Oh My Girl... A reality special? or show? Not sure what exactly the actual term for it is. This I believe it was one of their first. They had 1 extra member from what it is now. The girls are great. The personalities just are great.
In this show they are put to do different games and other task. Separated individually and by groups. This was a fun watch and got to know the members more. Every time I watch a show like this I get to know the group more and get to know which members are on my top list. We shouldn't do that but hey it seems like everyone has a list for every group.
I love the group in general. Binnie being my bias in this group. I got to know how they are a bit more. After seeing them live on stage I really respect this girls. Very good singers/performers. I saw this a while ago so my memory isn't 100% fresh. Although the food they made I do remember it looked so good.
Who's your bias in Oh My Girl? Leave me a comment.
This time I saw k-pop group Twice special for their Dance The Night Away comeback special on V Live.
If you know me or follow me on other social media platforms you all know that I am a Once (Twice fan). So I had to see this, well I have to see most of their V Lives however I won't write about every single one. In this special the members talk about the album. They also play games and answer other types of questions. They also performed the comeback song.
Are you a fan of Twice or a fan of k-pop? Let me know in a comment!
'Best Chicken' yes! as the name says this drama is about chicken! Fried chicken.
Also, yes it did get me hungry at points for some chicken. Lead are Kim So-Hye (IOI), Park Sun-Ho (The Current Produce 101 X) and Joo Woo-Jae, also Lee Seung-Hyub (N.Flying).
So-Hye lives in an old bath house that is owned by her grandfather. He puts it on sale because no customers come in which So-Hye lives upstairs of and is in charge of the bath house. She is working on becoming a webtoon.
Her grandfather sells the place to Sun-Ho character which he quite his business job to follow his dream of opening a Fried Chicken spot. He turns the bath house into a restaurant. So-Hye tries to get rid of him but ends up working for him while still trying to get the business to go out. However her plans turn out to help the place.
They end up meeting a homeless guy Woo-Jae character who ends up helping them improve the recipe. He used to go to school to become a chef. But do to his hand shaking, (can't hold steady the tools) he gave it up.
Overall the drama was ok, it wasn't one of the best one. I don't regret watching it either. After all I did get the chicken song out of it. Haha.
By the way I saw this drama on Viki and I believe it is also an original. For those of you curious on where I saw it.
Any of you seen this drama? If so let me know your thoughts on it!
Crimson: Movie lover and collector, always have been. As a child my father would take me to the movies every week sometimes twice if they were 2 good movies out.
