The Warrior’s Way
2010
R
Director: Sngmoo Lee
Cast: Dong-gun Jang, Kate Bosworth, Geoffrey Rush, Danny Huston…
The Warrior’s Way is about a warrior who is killing off the enemy’s clan leaving no one alive. However, he comes to the last person of the clan which turns out to be a baby girl. He takes her with him, the 2 end up in a western town. Peaceful he is for a while until trouble arrives to the town.
This is a ninja and cowboy movie, the story is decent in my opinion. There is a lot of CG. To me it was a bit artistic but a little to much CG that wasn’t so great. It has a bit of a cartoon feel to it. Some of the action sequences were pretty cool; I love how the warrior uses his weapon.
Kate Bosworth and Geoffrey Rush are part of the cast which I was surprised to see in a movie like this. Geoffrey Rush didn’t even seem like it was him until they focused on him. Both Bosworth and Rush character were good in my opinion.
Overall it was an entertaining movie, I saw it on Netflix. It is there until 4/26/15. It’s a good film to watch and get entertain, however it is nothing to go out of your way. I give it 5 out of 10. Didn’t hate or love it. One of those movies you just didn’t mind watching.
